Hyderabad: The general body meeting of the Agrasen Bank Limited was conducted here on Sunday. Pramod Kumar Kedia, Chairman of the bank said, that the bank had performed well despite the pandemic.
Addressing the meeting, he detailed the performance of the bank. He said the share capital of the bank decreased to 22.34 crore as on December 31, 2021 compared to 22.42 crore the previous year.
The reserve and surplus increased to 52.82 crore against 14,806 crore the previous fiscal, registering a growth of 9.90 per cent.
The total deposits of the bank increased to Rs 532.52 crore as on December 31, 2021 as against Rs 479.48 crore in the previous fiscal year, registering a growth of 11.06 per cent.
Loans and advances of the Bank rose to Rs 352.43 crore from Rs 321 81 crore with a rise of 9.51 per cent.
The total business of the Bank including deposits and loans and advances increased to 884.95 crore as on December 31, 2021 as against Rs 801,29 crore for the corresponding period the previous year, with a growth rate of 10.44 per cent.
About the digital initiatives, Kedia said, the bank has moved into a vibrant arena of digital banking, with the introduction of Unified Payment interface (UPI) services from November 2021.
